Aims of WFNS Spine Committee
1. As chairman of WFNS Spine Committee, I shall strive to work within our committee following the principle as laid down by the President of WFNS. It will be my endeavour to gain information from other related International Organizations who are committed to be development of Spinal Surgery.
2. The committee will promote educational research and Clinical missions worldwide.
3. For better communication a separate website is being installed for the WFNS Spine Committee.
4. To promote educational activities the committee will hold educational programmes two or three times a year around the world.
5. The committee will yearmark institutions will accept fellows for training in spinal surgery for a limited period.
6. In the very near future, the committee will propose to hold separate spinal surgery conferences.
7. The committee will participate in WFNS conferences in a more meaningful way with more than one academic programme.
8. A set of spinal instruments is being developed by the chairman which will be very soon projected to the world. The committee, as far as possible, will promote research activities.
9. The committee will work hard to clarify certain controversies on treatment, devices and surgical techniques.
10. The committee will strive to increase the membership of the committee so that the world is represented in a balance way.
